As a certified Sommelier, James King brings extensive knowledge about wine to your tasting, tour, event or wine procurement. James has traveled to wine regions around the world: from Kakheti, Georgia, considered the birthplace of wine, to France’s Bordeaux region, Italy’s Tuscany and Spain’s Rioja Valley.

James has cultivated extensive relationships with winemakers in prestigious areas, such as Napa | Sonoma, Monterey | Santa Lucia Highlands, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara | Santa Rita Hills, as well as others in Oregon and Washington.

With charm, wit and wisdom, James has hosted dinners featuring California wines including Blackbird Vineyards, Luna Vineyards, Quintessa Winery, Shafer Vineyards, Silver Oak Winery and Twomey Winery, as well as Washington wines from Betz Family Winery, DeLillie Cellars, McCrea Cellars and Woodward Canyon Winery.

European tours can also be planned, taking your group to France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia and other countries.
